Artist's Personal Encounter:
I've run enough.. I didn't know how I could paint my life with colours when it was dark. I didn't know how to beautify darkness because I was too clouded by my own darkness. Until I started painting, and then I realized it's not difficult at all to add colours under a black base, all is needed is to be patient for the black to dry. You can't add colours over black when it's still wet for the colours will still turn dark; you can't be too quick to try to cover your pain by pretending to be happy, in disguise, for you are running away (from God and yourself). Healing takes place when you face it and feel it. Healing takes place through the longer process. And patience is the key to healing. Don't give up and choose a more complacent path. Do not be afraid for dying is the sign of living. We die (in our sin and past) and are reborn (transformed completely in Him). The old things have come to pass and have transformed into something new. Something so bright and beautiful.
